Vestas participates in EROSION to get more in-sight on new solutions to leading edge blade erosion, one of the major challenges in the wind industry.

Vestas sees need for a research-based project in which improved understanding of the physical basis and statistically and technically in-sights on blade erosion are included. EROSION offers these aspects and therefore Vestas has joined the consortium. The added value of Vestas in the EROSION consortium is their vast knowledge base covering the world.
