The Erosion project leader, Charlotte Hasager, presented on the "Research Needs for Offshore Wind Resource characterization" workshop in Alexandria, Virginia on March 6th. The workshop was organized by the US Department of Energy. Charlotte Hasager presented on the research needs as the US East Coast offshore wind farm planning and development will need further insight to wind resources and degradation of leading edges of turbine blades.
