At the conference invited speaker Senior Scientist Charlotte Hasager presented on the topic “On leading edge erosion at turbine blades due to heavy rain and the application of erosion safe mode control to extend life”.
The conference was attended mainly by industrial experts in the field of operations and maintenance. The topic has attracted much attention recently due to the increase in operational costs as the offshore wind farms have been in service during several years. At the same time life time extension is consider as a new perspective.
